Zhejiang University(ZJU) was founded in 1897 and is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical, cultural and scenic city in China. ABOUT US
浙江大学“一带一路”国际医学院是浙江大学响应国家共建“一带一路”倡议,面向新时代世界医学发展趋势,由浙江大学与义乌市人民政府合作共建,国家教育部正式批准,浙江大学负责办学和管理的直属单位,中国科学院院士黄荷凤任院长。学院定位于建设国际化、高水平、研究型特色的高等医学教育机构,培育一流的医学科学家和健康行业的领导者、培养具有全球竞争力的高水平医学人才。2023年10月,校园正式启用,现有学生670人,包括国内研究生477人,以及来自47个国家的国际学生193人。
The International School of Medicine, Zhejiang University (ISM) is a direct subsidiary unit established by Zhejiang University in response to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, aligning with the global trends in medical development for the new era. It is a collaborative project between Zhejiang University and the Yiwu Municipal People's Government, officially approved by the Ministry of Education, and is managed and operated by Zhejiang University. Headed by Huang Hefeng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ISM is positioned as an international, high-level, and research-oriented higher medical education institution, aiming to cultivate top-tier medical scientists and leaders in the health industry, as well as to train highly competitive medical professionals with global perspectives. The campus officially opened in October 2023 and 670 students study here, including 477 domestic postgraduate students and 193 international students from 47 countries.

The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine(ZJU4H) is a directly affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University and a provincial comprehensive three-A hospital. Opened in October 2014, ZJU4H is a national pilot unit for the implementation of medical insurance drug traceability code work and has maintained an A+rating for five consecutive years, making it ranked first in the central and western regions of Zhejiang province.
浙江大学国际健康医学研究院作为科研支撑和转化医学研究平台,获批国家级细胞-微环境互作学科创新引智基地、国家博士后工作站,全省肺癌精准诊疗重点实验室、生育力保护与促进浙江省工程研究中心等,聚力打造生殖医学、肿瘤医学、再生与衰老医学、代谢医学、RNA医学、遗传医学、膜受体与脑医学七大中心,开展高水平的临床转化和前沿性的多学科合作。
As a research support and translational medicine research platform, the International Institutes of Medicine, Zhejiang University (IIM) has been approved as a national level Innovation and Talent Introduction Base for Cell Microenvironment Interaction Disciplines, a national level Postdoctoral Workstation, a Key Laboratory for Precision Diagnosis and Treatment of Lung Cancer in Zhejiang Province, a Zhejiang Engineering Research Center for Fertility Protection and Promotion and so on. It is committed to building seven medicine centers in reproductive medicine, oncology medicine, regenerative and aging medicine, metabolic medicine, RNA medicine, genetic medicine, and membrane receptor and brain medicine, and carrying out high-level clinical translation and cutting-edge interdisciplinary cooperation.

(一).全球杰出教席
【任职要求】
1.申请人应知华友华、治学严谨、有国际学术影响力、教学能力突出、育人成效显著,主要包括国际重要奖项获得者、科技发达国家学术组织院士、全球顶尖大学或一流学科的正教授、获得过重要教学奖项或出版过国际畅销教材的学者等。
2.在聘期内,每学年至少主讲一门高质量课程。原则上线下授课,可独立授课或与校内外教师组成课程组联合授课,本人每门课程的授课时数不少于24学时,并积极参与课程和教材建设、帮助青年教师教学能力提升等。
3.课程面向我院本科生或研究生开设,原则上应为本科生通识必修课、专业基础课、专业必修课、限定选修课或研究生专业课。课程由申请人自主设计或与我院协商设计,应具有高阶性、创新性和挑战性,使学生真正受益。
【薪资待遇】

1.Global Distinguished Educator
【Requirements】
1.Having a good understanding of Chinese culture and values, and agreeing with the spirit and core values of Zhejiang University.
2.Having made outstanding academic achievements and made great international academic influence.
3.Winners of prestigious awards in their respective fields, including but not limited to the Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, Turing Award, Lasker Medical Research Award, Pulitzer Prize, and Wolf Prize; academicians in major developed countries; full professors from top universities or leading disciplines; scholars who work at prominent international organizations, have received prestigious teaching awards or published best-selling textbooks.
4.In each academic year, Global Distinguished Educator should teach at least one high-quality course, either a new course or an existing one at the undergraduate or graduate level. This course should be either a General Education Course or one required in the curriculum of a major.
5.Global Distinguished Educator should teach the course independently or jointly with faculty members from Zhejiang University. The course should be taught in person. The Global Distinguished Educator's direct instruction in the classroom should be at least 24 class hours per academic year.
6.In addition to teaching, Global Distinguished Educator are expected to actively contribute to the development of high-quality courses and textbooks, establish international collaborations in teaching, and mentor junior professors in improving their teaching capabilities.
【Financial Support】
Global Distinguished Educator will be compensated at a rate that is competitive internationally. The amount will be determined based on their teaching experience and workload.
(二).求是讲席教授
【任职要求】
在相关领域取得系统性、创造性成就,做出重大贡献,具有广泛的国际学术影响力,如国际著名大奖获得者、发达国家院士或具有相当水平的海内外顶尖学者。

【Requirements】
1.The positions available include Qiushi Distinguished Professor, Qiushi Distinguished Professor for Teaching, and Qiushi Distinguished Clinician.
2.Scholars for these positions should currently hold a full professorship (or equivalent) at a well-regarded university. For the Qiushi Distinguished Clinician role, scholars are typically expected to have experience as both a professor and a chief physician.
3.Scholars who have demonstrated significant academic achievements in their fields, possess the capability to advance their disciplines to the leading edge of international research, and exhibit exceptional organizational leadership skills.
4.The age limit is under 55 years as of January 1st in the year of application. Specifically, for those applying for the Qiushi Distinguished Professor for Teaching, the age limit is under 59 years.

2.Serving as a professor (chief physician) or equivalent position in a high-level university or university affiliated hospital at home and abroad, with extensive influence among peers, able to lead the discipline to lead or surpass international advanced levels;
3.Being familiar with the laws of higher education, outstanding teaching abilities, significant educational achievements, understanding of domestic and foreign higher education situations, and having previously held positions in renowned universities' departments, research institutes, or laboratories are preferred.

6.ZJU 100 Young Professor
【Requirements】
Scholars should achieve the academic performance equivalent to that of assistant professors or associate professors from world-famous university at home and abroad, with the potentiality to become academic leaders in their research field, and be able to independently develop an academic direction that meets the requirements of disciplinary development. It should be noted that the age of scholars should be around 35 years old.

2.For the Distinguished Research Fellow role, scholars should have postdoctoral experience or a substantial research training background, demonstrating a level of academic proficiency comparable to faculty researchers in world-famous university at home and abroad. For the Distinguished Associate Research Fellow position, scholars are expected to have a solid research training background, achieving an academic standard equivalent to associate researchers in world-famous university at home and abroad.

1.Competitive Salary: Providing generous and academically focused salary and benefits, with remuneration packages reaching up to 0.6 million RMB annually.
